{Library}

2017
Collected books, oak bookshelf

Library is a collection of books that offers clarity of thought and certainty of expression. It may be an antidote to the online world of contingent, crowd-sourced knowledge and the incessant chatter of the below-the-line commentariat. Or perhaps the reassurance that many find in books merely masks a different set of problematic relationships to ideas of truth and knowledge.

Exhibited at APT Gallery, London as part of Creekside Open 2017 curated by Jordan Baseman, and at the Shelf Gallery, Fordham
