A Collection for the SCVA continues my interest in assembling groups of objects as a response to the environment in which they are placed. In this instance I was drawn to the combination of ethnographic items, fine art and private benefaction, and enjoyed the serendipitous juxtaposition with a very fine portrait by Francis Bacon.
